Sunnex is proud to announce a significant milestone in our commitment to environmental stewardship: the successful launch of our new solar project at the Taishan factory. Since being connected to the grid on May 30th, the solar station has been operating stably, marking a firm step forward in our sustainable development and providing a powerful engine for our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals.

This solar project is at the heart of our environmental strategy. By harnessing advanced photovoltaic technology, we are converting sunlight directly into clean electricity for our manufacturing operations. This initiative drastically reduces our reliance on traditional fossil fuels, leading to a significant cut in our carbon footprint. It is a concrete action that aligns with global efforts to combat climate change and actively supports China’s “dual carbon” strategic goals.

At the same time, Sunnex Taishan is building a comprehensive environmental protection system. The factory has introduced WS‑20/T wastewater treatment equipment and uses advanced treatment processes so that treated water meets the Class I standard of the national “Discharge Standard of Water Pollutants” (GB44126‑2001), helping to protect the local ecosystem.

Beyond its environmental impact, the project represents a smart approach to resource management. We have transformed our factory’s idle rooftop space into a productive asset that generates clean power. This solar installation now acts as the “green energy heart” of our factory, delivering a steady and reliable stream of clean electricity to power our production lines. This not only enhances our operational efficiency but also reinforces our transition to a more sustainable manufacturing model.
