Social and Sustainability Responsibilities

At Sunnex, we are committed to the practice of social responsibility, sustainability and reduction of carbon footprint.

We know that we have the power to change lives.  Working towards change, we need to think and act in completely new ways.

These are the steps we’re taking to achieve our commitments:

As LED lighting fixtures are exclusively environmentally friendly, it has become one of the preeminent steps in developing and maintaining a robust ESG strategy for Sunnex. Now Sunnex are undergoing transformations from traditional fluorescent lights to LED lights.  In our factory in China, all the fluorescent lights have already been changed to LED lights. In Hong Kong, we have implementing similar move in our office.  By taking these actions, we aim to reduce operational costs and energy consumption as LEDs consume approx. 50–60% energy compared to traditional lights yet provide brighter illumination.

Packaging is an industry with a big impact on the environment. Sunnex is going to reduce the use of plastics and replace with more easily recycled alternatives. For examples, Sunnex will ship their coffee percolators to one big US camping equipment group without any plastics bag. One of the big seller models Eco Cater Series Chafing dishes will be packed without any plastic bags as well.  In areas where plastic bags are necessary, we strive to minimize the usage of plastic and packaging materials while still protecting products from damage.

It is important that business is not only for making money but also contributes to the society for future development. In this aspect, Sunnex provides sponsorship to support youth development in sports activities and education.
